Area Information Located within the Pirin National Park, some 160kms from Sofia International Airport, The Razlog Valley not only has Eastern Europe's largest Ski area but a burgeoning summer resort. It has been tipped in the press as the new Verbier and Bansko has been described as "the hottest ski resort on the planet". An Ian Woosnam championship golf course is now close to completion and there 6 further course now planned. The area is renowned for hiking, hunting, mountain biking, riding and fishing during the summer months as well as hosting an international Jazz Festival in August. A new large Theme park has recently been announced and a regional airport is also being planned.
